Her appointment comes at a pivotal time, as Scottsdale is set to celebrate its 75th anniversary in 2026, with a series of events planned throughout the year to honor the city's rich history and culture.

 

Notably, the Parada del Sol Historic Parade is scheduled for January 31, 2026, and the Founder's Day Celebration on February 26, 2026, both highlighting the unique heritage of Old Town Scottsdale.

 

Additionally, the city has announced a $40 million investment aimed at revitalizing Old Town's infrastructure and enhancing the overall experience for both residents and visitors.

 

These improvements are designed to support local businesses and maintain Scottsdale's appeal as a premier tourist destination.

 

With Ms. Passehl's leadership, the city anticipates a strengthened collaboration with the Old Town community, ensuring that Scottsdale continues to thrive as a dynamic and welcoming place for all.
