Old Town Scottsdale's New Marriott Reveals Its Official Opening Date

AC Hotel Scottsdale Old Town Set to Welcome Guests in February 2026

After seven months of construction, the AC Hotel Scottsdale Old Town has announced its official opening date: February 2026.

This new addition brings the brand's signature European-inspired design and "Perfectly Precise" guest experience to the heart of Old Town Scottsdale.

"AC Hotels by Marriott are built for guests who appreciate the art of detail, where every element serves a purpose," says Heather Mulhearn, dual director of sales for AC Hotel Old Town Scottsdale.

"This property embodies that philosophy, bringing a sophisticated yet approachable experience that reflects the energy and creativity of Old Town Scottsdale."

The hotel will feature:

168 rooms, including 74 double queens, 71 kings, and 18 two-bedroom suites.

A rooftop pool offering sweeping views of Old Town Scottsdale and Camelback Mountain.

Ciéleto, a rooftop bar and restaurant in collaboration with Wayfaring Group, brings flavors of Northwest Mexico to Scottsdale.

AC Lounge, featuring small shareable plates and handcrafted cocktails.

A 950-square-foot, 24/7 fitness center with floor-to-ceiling windows and modern equipment.

Flexible meeting and event spaces to accommodate various groups.

Valet-only parking and a three-story underground parking garage.

Pet-friendly rooms for pets up to 50 lbs.

In addition to managing the property, PEG Companies, a commercial real estate investment firm, is a co-owner and developer.

The property's architecture and interiors were designed by Gensler and Edge ID, with Okland Construction serving as the general contractor and Doug Sydnor as consulting architect.

The development also features a public art installation created in partnership with the City of Scottsdale to enhance the surrounding streetscape.

"Old Town is known for its balance of history and innovation," says Joe Madera, vice president of hospitality at PEG Companies.

"Our goal was to create a hotel that honors that duality: European precision infused with Scottsdale's vibrant local spirit."

The new hotel will generate approximately 50 new hospitality jobs, contributing to continued growth and investment in Downtown Scottsdale's tourism economy.

Address: 7117 E. 3rd Ave., Scottsdale, AZ 85251

In the context of Old Town Scottsdale's ongoing revitalization, the AC Hotel's opening aligns with the city's $40 million investment plan aimed at enhancing infrastructure, safety, and visitor experience.

Recent developments include the announcement of The Goldwater, an upscale condo and retail project, and the launch of Arbor Old Town, a luxury office redevelopment.

These projects reflect a concerted effort to blend modern amenities with the area's rich cultural heritage, ensuring Old Town Scottsdale remains a premier destination for residents and visitors alike.
