Scottsdale AZ Husky Rescue:  Sweet Husky Shadow in Need of a Foster Home 

Shadow, a 5-year-old male Siberian Husky, is currently in boarding and urgently needs a foster home in Scottsdale, AZ.

 

Weighing approximately 100 pounds upon intake, Shadow has been on a weight loss journey and is making progress toward a healthier size.

 

He is known for his friendly demeanor, always greeting humans with a big smile and offering affectionate kisses.

 

Shadow has interacted well with medium to large dogs that respect his space.

 

However, he is not suitable for homes with small dogs or cats due to his prey drive.

 

Scottsdale AZ Husky Rescue loves Shadow and he has shown a tendency to resource guard toys and bones, so an experienced adopter with older children (12+) who understand dog behavior is recommended.

 

Shadow has no bite record and has been the absolute sweetest, friendliest, most outgoing, lovable guy.

 

Previously, Shadow lived in a Scottsdale apartment for 1.5 years before being surrendered to the shelter.

 

Notes indicated that during a walk, a small dog approached him, barking excessively, and Shadow reacted.

 

Thankfully, the small dog was not seriously injured, but this incident led to Shadow being e-listed.

 

Despite this, Shadow has shown no aggression whatsoever with humans and is eager to find a loving home.
