Scottsdale AZ Husky Rescue Seeks Foster Home for Bella |
Six-Year-Old Husky Bella Needs a Loving Foster Family |
Meet Bella, a six-year-old husky in need of a foster home in Scottsdale, AZ.
Rescued from the euthanasia list at Maricopa County Animal Care and Control in the summer of 2024, Bella has shown resilience despite her past.
Initially cautious, she warms up to people once trust is established.
Previously adopted and returned due to resource guarding, her foster family has not observed this behavior and can guide a smooth transition.
Bella coexists with both large and small dogs, enjoying their company even if she's not the most playful.
She adores her toys and may occasionally guard them, but this hasn't led to conflicts.
Experiencing some separation anxiety, Bella may cry or attempt to escape when left alone with outdoor access.
However, she is not destructive and is fully potty-trained.
She loves lounging on the couch and rarely turns down a belly rub, showing her affection once comfortable.
Due to a past incident involving a bite when physically pushed, an adult-only home is recommended.
Teenagers who understand dog behavior may also be suitable.
A calm and quiet environment would be ideal for Bella to thrive.
