As December unfolds, Scottsdale transforms into a festive haven, blending traditional holiday cheer with its unique Southwestern charm.
Scottsdazzle 2025
From November 29 to December 31, Old Town Scottsdale comes alive with Scottsdazzle, a month-long celebration marking its 10th anniversary.
The festivities kick off with the Jingle & Jazz: Tree Lighting Spectacular on November 29 at 7 p.m. at the Scottsdale Waterfront.
Hosted by community leader Kira Peters, the evening features swing bands, dance performances, and the illumination of a 36-foot Christmas tree.
Throughout December, enjoy events like the Scottsdazzle Stroll & Shop on Saturdays, where the Waterfront transforms into a winter wonderland with live music and pop-up boutiques.
Art enthusiasts can attend the Gold Palette ArtWalk on December 11, showcasing seasonal works from local and national artists.
For families, the Pancakes and Pajamas with Santa event on December 13 offers breakfast, crafts, and a performance by Greasepaint Theatre.
New this year is the Tinsel Trail, featuring holiday window paintings by local artists throughout Old Town.

Christmas at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess
From November 21, 2025, to January 3, 2026, the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess transforms into a winter wonderland.
Experience the Starlights: An Electric Symphony, the Aurora Ice Wonderland, and over 16 million Lagoon Lights.
Families can enjoy the Princess Express Train, visit with holiday characters, or skate at the Desert Ice Rink.
Don’t miss The Village, where kids can sled down the 200-foot Snow Mountain and ride the Chair Lift Ferris Wheel.

ZooLights at the Phoenix Zoo
From November 26, 2025, to January 16, 2026, the Phoenix Zoo presents ZooLights, a beloved holiday tradition.
Wander through millions of twinkling lights, a 200-foot light tunnel, and the mesmerizing Lake Lights Show.
This year features a Sensory Friendly ZooLights Night on December 15, as well as special drive-through experiences on November 2 and January 18.
Enjoy hot cocoa, s’mores, and one of Arizona’s most heartwarming traditions.

Holiday Lights at McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park
From November 28 to December 30, 2025, the McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park dazzles with thousands of twinkling lights and festive displays.
Hop aboard the Paradise & Pacific Railroad for a unique Scottsdale experience.
Guests can also enjoy glow-in-the-dark miniature golf, browse the Model Railroad Building, and refuel with treats from Hartley’s General Store.

Las Noches de las Luminarias at the Desert Botanical Garden
On select dates from November 28 to December 30, 2025, the Desert Botanical Garden celebrates the holidays with Las Noches de las Luminarias.
More than 8,000 hand-lit luminarias and countless twinkle lights illuminate the trails, creating a serene desert glow.
Guests can enjoy live entertainment, festive food and drinks, and this year’s special art installation, Framerate: Desert Pulse.

World of Illumination
From November 15, 2025, to January 5, 2026, World of Illumination offers the country’s largest drive-through animated light show.
Visitors can choose between two unique experiences: Reindeer Road at Tempe Diablo Stadium and Candy Rush at Desert Diamond Casino in Glendale.
With millions of dancing lights synchronized to holiday songs, it’s a perfect outing for families and date nights.
