A Half-Century of Memories Honored with Festivities and New Attractions |
McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park in Scottsdale is set to commemorate its 50th anniversary with a grand Golden Jubilee on Saturday, October 4, from 3 to 8:30 p.m.
Admission to the event is free, with train and carousel rides available for $3 each.
Scottsdale attendees can look forward to a variety of family-friendly activities, including bounce houses, face painting, balloon artists, and a selection of local food trucks offering beer and wine.
Live music will feature performances in Scottsdale by Rhythm Edition, Rock Lobster, Tribute to Funk and Soul, and The JJ's Band.
The evening will conclude with the park's first-ever drone light show, promising a spectacular visual experience.
In conjunction with the anniversary, the Scottsdale park has unveiled significant enhancements totaling $13.1 million.
These include a 5,000-square-foot splash pad and a 10,000-square-foot indoor play area known as The Roundhouse, designed to provide year-round entertainment for visitors.
Located at 7301 E. Indian Bend Road, McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park continues to be a cherished destination for the Scottsdale community.
