Scottsdale Chamber Breakfast Shines Spotlight on Community Safety |
Upcoming Scottsdale event to address human trafficking awareness and police initiatives |
The Scottsdale Area Chamber of Commerce is set to host its 'Breakfast with a Side of...Community Safety on October 30, 2025, from 7:15 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. at the Westin Kierland Resort & Spa, located at 6902 East Greenway Parkway.
Karen Cahn of the SAFE Action Project will lead a session on recognizing, reporting, and combating human trafficking through specialized training and a proactive 'see something, say something' approach.
Scottsdale Police Chief Joseph LeDuc will discuss the department's latest initiatives, including technological advancements, community engagement efforts, and innovative projects aimed at enhancing police operations.
Attendees will receive a 'Be SAFE' certificate upon completion of the training, signifying their commitment to community safety.
Admission is priced at $40 for chamber members and $50 for non-members.
