This unique museum, operated by the nonprofit Arizona Baseball Legacy and Experience (ABLE), offers an in-depth look into Arizona's baseball history, with a special emphasis on Scottsdale's contributions to the sport.
Visitors can expect exhibits detailing the early days of Arizona baseball, including the notorious "Outlaw" leagues, the inception of spring training, the evolution of the modern Cactus League, and Scottsdale's proud tradition of high school baseball.
Frasher's Tavern owner, George Frasher, has generously expanded his extensive collection of baseball memorabilia for this venture.
"Frasher's is honored to carry on the baseball traditions of Old Town Scottsdale and such great places of the past like the Pink Pony and Don and Charlies," Frasher remarked.
"We are excited about teaming up with ABLE and making Frasher's a gathering place for the baseball community and fans of our national pastime."
In addition to the exhibits, the museum plans to host baseball presentations and group gatherings throughout the year.
A bookstore dedicated to literature on America's pastime is also in the works.
Admission to the Old Town Scottsdale Baseball Experience is free, inviting fans of all ages to immerse themselves in the rich tapestry of Arizona's baseball legacy.
